THE BEGINNING
INKJI Studio & Academy was founded by Jieun, a South Korean immigrant who came to Canada in 2008 to pursue post-secondary education. Despite having a secure and lucrative corporate career in wealth management, Ji’s passion for helping people feel beautiful and confident through her permanent makeup skills grew stronger. After three years of balancing both her day job and side-hustle, Ji finally made the difficult decision to leave her office job and fully commit to building a beauty empire.

INKJI was born out of Ji’s desire to create a platform for women to look and feel their best through semi-permanent makeup. In addition to providing top-quality cosmetic tattoo services, INKJI also offers training and education through its academy to empower aspiring beauty entrepreneurs to take their skills to the next level and build successful businesses of their own.
Ji’s unwavering dedication to her craft and her commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive PMU community has propelled INKJI to extraordinary success.
